The soft cover version of the 3rd Edition of Battlefront's World War II miniatures game, Flames of War, arrives in our store this week.  The updated rules provide a compelling gaming experience while streamlining and improving the popular and proven system of historical combat.

This Saturday, we will be handing out a FREE copy of the 3^rd Edition rules to all our active Flames of War customers who own a copy of the 2^nd edition hardback rules book.  We define a player as 'active' if he meets one of these two conditions:

1. He purchased the hardback Flames of War rulebook from our store in the past or,
2. He purchased any Flames of War product from our store in the past quarter.

If you meet one of those two requirements above, then you can bring in your copy and we’ll mark it with a commemorative sticker to show you’ve survived through the 2nd Edition: you’ll receive your free complimentary copy of the 3rd Edition rules book on that day.

But what if you've bought the book from another retailer or you haven't been active in Flames of War lately? Don't worry, we'll still take care of you: starting on Monday, we will hand out any leftover copies of the new rules book to anyone who brings us an eligible 2^nd edition hardback for stickering.

In either case, you should try to make an effort and visit us this Saturday: myself, Ron and Niall will be on hand from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM playing in the Mid-War Tournament and answering any questions you may have about what's changed in 3^rd Edition. Time permitting, we'll even set up some demo games if you're brand new and would like to try your hand at Flames of War.

Whether you're a seasoned Flames of War player or a new player looking to start, this is a great time to jump in and enjoy the unique experience which the Flames of War miniatures game provides.
