Axis pushes Allied forces out of the Lorraine!

After hard fighting, the Allied forces were unable to remove the Axis hold of the Lorraine region in France. Tense fighting over the course of several weeks had the Allies and Axis at more or less of a stalemate. Toward the end, however, the German forces started to show a slight tactical foothold. What really secured their victory, however, was a final push by German Hauptmann Alex "Bloody Rose" Baun.
The German commander, Oberstleutnant Johnny "One-eye" Coviello had this to say about the operation in the Lorraine:
"We expeceted more resistance from the Allied Nations. A few tactical blunders allowed the opportunity for us seize a foot-hold. At the end, it seemd as if the enemy had simply given up. Hauptmann Baun, motivated mostly by the prospect of some kind of financial gain, arrived in the area where we thought the last of our enemy was hiding. He found no enemy left in the region. Not exactly what [we] had planned, but I'm still calling it a victory."
Alex "Bloody Rose" Baun took first place in our campaign as well as the Leher award for assisting players who are relatively new to the game.
"British" Bob Genso took second place.
