D&D Lords of Waterdeep Boardgame Preview Night

Thunderstone: Advance Level Up Pre-release

Waterdeep, the City of Splendors—the most resplendent jewel in the Forgotten Realms, and a den of political intrigue and shady back-alley dealings. In this game, the players are powerful lords vying for control of this great city. Its treasures and resources are ripe for the taking, and that which cannot be gained through trickery and negotiation must be taken by force!

New World, Ancient Evil! Doom has made his way to other worlds following his banishment! Are you brave enough to advance to the next level of Thunderstone? A completely revised and compatible edition of AEG's popular deck-building fantasy game set in a new game world, Thunderstone: Advance introduces over 500 new cards featuring 11 new heroes, nine new monster groups, and 19 new village cards! Plus, Familiars join the fight to aid your quest, powerful new Thunderstone Bearers lurk in every dungeon, and two dungeons offer twice the challenge!

Join us as we host two very special preview sessions of Wizards of the Coast's newest D&D boardgame, weeks prior to its official release date.

During our preview night, you will take on the role of one of the masked Lords of Waterdeep, secret rulers of the fabled city of the Forgotten Realms. Through your agents, you will recruit adventurers to go on quest, earning rewards that will increase your influence over the city. You will also play a part in expanding the city by purchasing new buildings that open up new game functionalities, and hinder—or help—the other lords by playing Intrigue cards to enact your carefully laid plans.

Space for these sessions is limited and pre-registration is highly recommended. You may reserve your seat by logging to our website and accessing your preferred session date:
